“Muscle Walk” Promotional Video
Approximately 1 in every 3500 boys born each year will suffer from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) . Duchenne begins to affect male children between the ages of 2-6 as their muscles weaken and waste away. Survival beyond the 20’s is rare. DMD is the most common of over 30 types of muscular dystrophy that the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) leads the charge against everyday. The MDA is a non-profit organization that helps affected individuals by finding breakthroughs across muscle-debilitating diseases, caring for individuals from day one and empowering families with services and support in hometowns across America.
The goal of the Muscle Walk Non-Profit Promotional Video was to help educate the public on the various forms of muscular dystrophy and similar diseases such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), demonstrate how the MDA is helping conquer these diseases, and offer ways that any individual can get involved. The Muscle Walk event was a moving and emotional one that impacted our entire team, so we strived to translate those same feelings into this promotional piece for each and every viewer to experience.
